Chairperson of illimity - Independent Director
Graduated from the Bocconi University, she builds her professional career with a great knowledge in financial issues, control and corporate governance. This thanks to her managerial experiences in multinational companies, to those as an entrepreneur and thanks to her active participation in the Boards of Directors of the most important “Made in Italy” companies.
Today she is in the boards of directors of groups such as Luisa Spagnoli, FSI SGR, she is chairman of the Eni board of statutory auditors, and she is mayor of Sea and Whirpool EMEA. Her resume includes similar roles at Pirelli, Intesa Sanpaolo, Recordati, Banca Cr Firenze, Telecom Italia, Italo, FILA, University of Milan.
During her career she put herself at the service of the State dealing with the Privatization Committee, following the sale process of important investees such as Eni, Enel and Telecom. To this she has added the outreach activities, with the publication of volumes on the topics of controls and risks, and journalism on important newspapers such as “Corriere della Sera” and “L'Espresso”. She also founded Nedcommunity, the first association in Italy aimed at developing the figure of independent members of the BoD and corporate control bodies.
