Launching illimity. It's possible in Italy too.

CEO illimity

Today was a special day: in a packed hall, we rang the bell of the Italian stock exchange and, in a thrilling moment for us all, illimity was listed on the MTA exchange.
illimity is a banking startup with two ambitious goals:
The first is to find - and release - the hidden value in Italian SMEs, including companies that are doing well but could grow more, companies that are struggling but have the potential to do well, and companies that are doomed, but still have some value. Financing companies that haven't yet reached their full value or that are going through difficult times is a wonderful responsibility and creates a very close relationship that is far more than a simple loan agreement.
The second goal is to take a step beyond traditional limits - hence illimity - in the banking industry by fully understanding current changes in the finance world and adopting as much new technology as possible.
This is about a new paradigm that makes it possible to combine skills, technologies and the human element in a way that has likely never been done before. We want to provide families and companies with a direct bank that can simplify their everyday lives and make sure their savings are used well. Many people warned against travelling the world to get capital for a banking startup in Italy at this time. But we went regardless, and we achieved the largest SPAC in Europe, proving that our country isn't off limits if projects are sound.
We were told it would be a difficult journey to build a bank from nothing and list it on the stock exchange. It was hard work, but in a matter of months Banca Interprovinciale was with us and our shareholders approved a business combination. And today we have been welcomed onto the MTA exchange.
Let's stop telling people, especially our young people, that everything is difficult or impossible in Italy. illimity was nothing more than an idea 12 months ago, but today it is a working bank with 200 illimiters who work every day - and often late into the evening - with smiles on their faces.
In our language, illimiters are not only the people who work at illimity. They are anyone who is unsatisfied with the present, who isn't put off by problems and who seeks to “go beyond” as our slogan suggests. The entrepreneurs that we finance and that we support are more illimiters than us, as they bravely show each and every day. Italy is full of illimiters.
We also want to show, every day, that we too are illimiters. And we want to do this to abundantly repay everyone who has put their faith in us, and to play our part in the development of our country.
